Just like the best olive oil comes from Greece, and best matcha comes from Japan, the best functional mushrooms comes from the Dao Di regions in China. Dao Di is a traditional Chinese principle that highlights the importance of sourcing tonic herbs from their original, authentic growing regions. The quality and potency of herbs can vary significantly depending on where they're cultivated. Traditional Chinese Medicine identifies specific regions as the ideal environments for certain herbs, and those grown in these areas are regarded as the most effective and beneficial. 

All of our products are certified Dao Di, reflecting a level of quality and authenticity that sets us apart from most other brands. 

Pure Wild Mushroom Spawn

Our functional mushrooms are domestic offsprings of wild mushrooms, after proper cropping and DNA testing. Our farming partner combines the local expertise from the farmers with researchers and scientists. Every year, the local farmers and adaptogen experts go into the deep forest in search of pure, wild mushroom strain for continuous research and sustainable domestication. These domesticated croppings are then sent to Chinese Academy of Science for DNA testing. It’s a costly yet highly effective method for preserving the full potency of medicinal mushrooms.

Sustainable Farming and Fair trade 

Our farming partner uses sustainable cultivation practices to organically (and certified) produce DaoDi mushrooms - meaning they are strictly non-GMO and free from herbicides, pesticides, and chemical fertilizers. These high-quality raw materials are also purchased at fair market prices, to ensure product integrity while creating life-changing job and income opportunities for local farmers.
